Kia car key
Most Kia cars need a Transponder Key and or remote key to be able to be started.
If the only key is lost or misplaced you will not be able to use the car until a new key is CUT and programmed into the cars ECU. Best thing to do is to have a backup key ready in the case that the key is permenently lost or misplaced.
We program most Kia remote keys and back-up keys with the programmed immobiliser chip.
NOTE: If you have lost your ONLY KEY there is no point in contacting us as it is too late to help with that situation. You can however find a local dealership to get your car ECU re-set and add two kia keys or there are some mobile locksmiths that specialise in automotive keys and can provide a couple of kia keys.

Kia car keys are pretty reliable and for some reason the kia key has to be the full remote type as there is a full factory alarm system installed. the Kia remote key has a transponder chip as well as a remote that disables the alarm as well.
