Mazda keys
If you own a Mazda please take my advice and always have a Spare Mazda key.
If you lose your Mazda key just like other car makes it could take a long time and cost quite a bit of money to get a Mazda key replaced. The Mazda remote key has a Temic crypto chip or a Texas crypto immobilizer chip Transponder Key in the key head.
This chip makes it near impossible for your car to be stolen or driven without the specific Mazda key present that is programmed uniquely for your vehicle.
NOTE: If you have lost your ONLY KEY there is no point in contacting us as it is too late to help with that situation. You may have to go to your Mazda dealership.

Mazda vehicles almost always have an immobiliser chip in the car key, this is to prevent theft. If your mazda smart key fails when you try to start the car, there are 2 types of over-ride. the first is to manually open the car door with the mazda emergency key and the put it ih the igniton part and turn, or with some mazda smart keys you can put the mazda logo up to the start button and push it. the car should start. Most Mazda Demio remote keys do not have an immobiliser, all of the other Mazda keys have the immobilser chip in the flip key or the smart key part.
